Chick a dee in my backyard
One of the smallest birds that frequent my backyard. The Chick a Dee cute little bird darting in and out I love to watch them. Here's a few shots from the other day he's sitting pretty in my Red Bud Tree.

Wildlife so much beauty if you just look
This is one of my favorite places to hang out and watch the wildlife that lives here.
Huffman Prairie
During the winter months Northern Harriers, and Short Eared Owls call Huffman Prairie their home.
And deer running free
Also spotted some Eastern Blue birds
Northern Harrier on the hunt!
It’s also where the Wright Brothers perfected their flight skills
in the Wright Flyer III, the worlds first practical airplane.

Saturday Mornings
On Saturdays we've been heading down to my sons home to see our littles and go with my grandson to ballet class. Close to where they live is where we found this Eagle. As luck has it he/she was sitting there this morning basking in the sun. You know I had to take a few pics again....

A day at the lake ....
Time for Random 5 Friday
1. I had Monday off for Presidents Day so I went to the lake.
2. No Eagles to be seen just a few Ring Billed Gulls
3. Toss a French fry and you could be mobbed
I prefer to just watch them as they flutter around..
4. Dinner don’t you just hate deciding on what to cook.
Hubby so what do you want for dinner? Me I don’t know
Hubby, well we are so limited anymore with our diets.
Me, so our choices are chicken and more chicken......ugh
5. This past year my hubby had both hips replaced. We call him the bionic man lol
He’s Almost back to himself as long as the ugly gout doesn’t flair up.
Getting old isn’t for wimps
Thankful for my hubby and to getting back to his old self.

Birding
Ive been birding for sometime now love it. This time a year is raptor season we have quite a few Bald Eagles around my home town now. They seem to be appearing in abundance. This is one of my favorites we call it Beauty I hope it s a girl lol. This one is in its 3rd year its is molting but sure is beautiful.
I want to get away I want to fly away........yeah

Random 5 Friday
Its time for Random 5 Friday
1. Its April and it feels like winter damp, chilly, rain, flurries. Please mother nature send some warmer temperatures.
2. Tried a new flavor of coffee today. I think it might be my new favorite its called Vanilla Sunrise; it has a blend of vanilla, cherry, plus a touch of almond. Yummy
3. With this crazy weather we've been having my poor hubby is aching all over. Arthritis is not fun
another reason mother nature needs to get her act together.
4. Those of you who know me know Tickle my puggle. We had a mishap a few weeks back Sherman our other pup was trying to get Tickle to play. He accidentally knocked Tickle off the bed. Poor Tickle ended up with a dislocated ankle not fun, he's all healed up now. It was a long four weeks with a cone and splint.
5. What are we doing on a Friday night Taxes, Taxes Taxes
