Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Here are my interpretations for this week hunt:

Less is More
Today my family and I attended the Wreaths Across America Ceremony. It takes place in December on the second Saturday of the month at 12:00 p.m. all across the United States. This is the sixth year of Wreaths Across America, it is a nationwide program which distributes holiday wreaths as a tribute to Veterans laid to rest at VA national cemeteries and state Veterans cemeteries.

Holiday Lights
This is our Festivus pole that we made  as a joke. Our youngest son  was in basic training during Christmas. So to lift his spirits we made it and sent him a photo of it. It has become a tradition in our family, the festivus pole is set out every year just like the tree.

    I just love your first shot. It is lovely. And the Cup of cheer shot is great. Love that cup. I've never quite seen a Nativity like that either. Beautiful.

    That first shot brought tears to my eyes. My brother is on yet another deployment at this time & seeing people come out & do things like that for those who have served means so much!
