I won a photo contest in my home town. You had to post a pic of a local musician. That was easy I posted my son playing his guitar. Here's the pic I won with, its on display at a local coffee shop. Also on a poster they hang in local businesses..

I'm Back

I'm back wedding done check, summers over check, back to work check. Now let's see if I can get my blog back up and running. Hope all is well with everyone. I'm linking up with Kathy over at You'll Shoot  Your Eye Out  for Song Ography Tuesday. This weeks song is High by Young Rising Sons

I found a ghost in the city lights, where all my wrongs have turned to rights.
Heart broken into pieces, eating away that we should let.
From the ground up we will rise.
I tip my hat to the highest height.
Every day is a compromise.
If this is low, I'm lookin for high.

Just let it close your eyes without the loitering high high.
Cuz all we need is love, we don't need sacrifice.
Were not sure what the price if you get it right.
Cuz way up in the sky there's no such thing as life, so tell me is this low or is this the high high.
