Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Food
When I saw the prompt for food I thought of my Dad. My Dad owned two restaurants in Ohio and they were both his pride and joy. My Dad passed away in June of 1979, and the restaurants have both changed hands a few times during that time. Anyway a few years back I noticed that one of the restaurants was empty and it looked like they were getting ready to tear it down. So I grabbed my camera and went and took some pics. Today on that corner stands a Walgreen. So here’s my take on food. The one of my Dad and my hubby is from 1979. I had to scan it in so it’s not the best pic but it’s pretty special.
The sign hanging on the high chair says closed for cleaning
and there sits my Dad and hubby. Made me giggle.....
This is me standing outside my dad's restaurant

I give up can anyone tell me why it keeps flipping this photo?
Very frustrating now I'm going to go scream haha

Stop on over at Ashley's for more  Scavenger Hunt photos .

Thanks for sharing both the photo AND the story behind your "food" prompt. I love old family photos, actually I seem to get LOST in them. I gained custody of 3 boxes loaded with old family photos and am spending waaaaaaaay too much time going thru them and letting my imagination start churning. Thank goodness for photography, it keeps memories alive and kindles new ones!

What a great story behind your food photo. That stinks that the building was torn down for a Walgreens. Ugh. Your "in disguise" photo is great too.
