Silver Bells:

Silver bells silver bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring a ling, hear them ring
Soon it will be Christmas Day
My son took these two shots with his phone.

Strings of street lights
Even stop lights
Blink a bright red and green
In the air there's a feeling of Christmas

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!

Thanksgiving

This year we walked the Turkey Trot over 10,000 people participated. The temperature was 19 degrees, plus  we had to walk a mile  up hill to the starting point. Needless to say we were already pooped by the time we made it to the start of the walk/ run.

I blinked, my eyes are shut lol off we go.....

Thank goodness it leveled out. Along the way I had to take some pics. Oh my gosh there's a barn, look at that fence. The people who were serious about the race were looking at me like you crazy lady. Just get out of our way.

Way off in the distance is a farm.

Look how beautiful the sky was.

These are not the best shots, it was hard to hold the phone still. Brrrr shakes

Waiting for us at home was our turkey  I cooked it in a crockpot.

I must say it came out pretty good nice and moist. Yes we finished the Turkey Trot with a little detour
we ended up walking 5 miles not too bad. The race was 5 miles, because of where we had to park it added 2 miles on to it. If we wouldn't have taken the detour we would've walked 7 miles. Talk about aching legs :)
